Heather Preisser, PA-C
Heather Preisser graduated from Florida State University before going on to earn her Physician Assistant degree from the Miami Dade College School of Health Sciences.
Heather is a nationally certified PA with extensive surgical and operating room experience. Before joining Gulf Coast Dermatology in 2007, Heather served as a PA in cardiothoracic surgery. Now, Heather is trained to provide all aspects of dermatological care, with a special emphasis in skin cancer surgery and surgical reconstruction.
Heather is proud to serve patients in both general and cosmetic dermatology, and is experienced performing many cosmetic procedures, including Botox injections and laser treatments.
Kristi Wells, PA-C
Kristi Wells is a nationally certified Physician Assistant. Kristi graduated from Tulane University with a double major in Biology and Psychology before going on to earn her Masters from the University of Florida’s Physician Assistant Program in 2003.
Since then, Kristi has kept busy, working as a PA in a private medical practice in Okaloosa County, and in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Jacksonville.
Kristi plans on putting down deep roots in South Walton, where she enjoys spending time with her family, and getting outdoors (with plenty of sunscreen, of course!).
Katie Showalter, PA-C
Katie Showalter grew up in the Panhandle and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of West Florida before going on to graduate from PA school at the University of South Alabama.
Katie hold membership in several professional associations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She received her Board Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and will be working with Gulf Coast Dermatology in the Niceville and Ft. Walton Beach offices.
Barry E. Newton, PA-C
Barry Newton is a nationally certified Physician Assistant who comes to Gulf Coast Dermatology’s Panama City office after completing a 20-year military career, during which time he graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and United States Air Force’s joint Physician Assistant program.
Barry has 18 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant, and has been in the Panama City area since 2003. At Gulf Coast Dermatology, his focus is general dermatology, with an emphasis in skin cancer surgery and surgical reconstruction.
Harmony Church, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant, Harmony Church, earned her degree from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, before becoming a Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Florida. She spent several years in pre-surgery and post-surgical patient education working with a Tallahassee plastic surgeon, and is experienced in laser resurfacing and cosmetic injectable treatments.
Harmony’s goal is to provide excellent care, making sure her patients are well-informed and comfortable through any cosmetic or surgical procedure.
Adilen L. Dillingham, PA-C
Adilen is a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of clinical experience in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Adilen grew up in Miami, where she earned her Bachelors of Science, Master of Clinical Medical Science, and Physician Assistant Certificate from Barry University.
She joined Gulf Coast Dermatology’s Jacksonville office in 2012, after moving to the area with her husband and two sons. Adilen is fluent in Spanish and English, and is experienced in a range of medical procedures, from performing biopsies and cryotherapy, to administering Botox, Juvederm and Radiesse treatments.
Angie Williamson, PA-C, SA
Angie is trained as both a Physician Assistant and a Surgeon’s Assistant. With over 2 decades of professional experience, Angie brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as a Certified Physician Assistant at Gulf Coast Dermatology in Santa Rosa Beach, Panama City Beach, and Panama City.
Angie graduated from the Surgeon’s Assistant Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she also received her Bachelor of Science. Since, she has earned her PA Certification in both Indiana and Florida, and has honed her skills through various continuing education courses, including a Plastic Techniques in Suturing Course. In addition, Angie is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Occupational Medicine.
Amanda Day, PA-C
Amanda Day is a Certified Physician Assistant holding a Master’s Degree in Medical Science-Physician Assistant from Nova Southeastern University, and Bachelor’s Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Troy University. As a wiregrass area native, Amanda joins Gulf Coast Dermatology with a passion for serving patients right here at home.
a Certified Physician Assistant, has provided patients with excellent care for more than 8 years, and now brings her surgical skills and experience to Gulf Coast Dermatology’s Auburn and Dothan patients.
Kelli completed her education at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and Samford University-Birmingham. She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants.
Anna Justi, PA-C
Nationally Certified Physician Assistant
Anna joined Gulf Coast Dermatology in 2013 and has served dermatology patients for 6 years. She holds Bachelor Degrees in Biology from the University of Georgia, and from the Physician Assistant program at the Medical College of Georgia.
Anna is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and holds membership in several professional associations.
Katherine Mader, PA-C, MSPAS
Katherine received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah School of Medicine, and has cared for patients in the field of general and surgical dermatology since 2009. Additionally, Katherine is experienced in cosmetic dermatology working with lasers and cosmetic injectables. She is a nationally certified physician assistant.
Karrie Thomas, PA-C
Nationally Certified Physician Assistant
Karrie joined Gulf Coast Dermatology in 2013. She holds a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. Karrie's experience and medical internships include work in cosmetic and general dermatology seeing patients in Arizona and Tulsa. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Scott Shepard, PA-C, MPAS
Major, USAF (retired)
Scott Shepard serves Gulf Coast Dermatology patients in our Gulf Breeze, Milton, and Navarre, Florida offices. He completed his masters in physician assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and received medical and emergency care training while serving as a decorated Major in the United States Air Force. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, the Special Operations Medicine Association and the Army Flight Surgeon Association.
