About Us
Jon R. Ward, MD, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist providing comprehensive care of all problems related to the skin. Dr. Ward is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Dr. Ward was raised in DeFuniak Springs, FL and is a graduate of Walton High School. After being accepted into an early admissions program at the University of Florida College of Medicine, he received his medical degree in 2001. Dr. Ward completed his dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts in 2005 and was selected Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Ward's special interest is in cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer surgery. He is one of the areas most experienced injectors of Botox, Juvederm, and Radiesse. He also has the newest lasers in the area for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and tattoo removal. Dr. Ward was honored by New Beauty magazine as a Top Beauty Doc and is the only physician in the Florida Panhandle with the distinction. Dr. Ward is also President-Elect of the Bays County Medical Society.
Michael A. Stickler, MD, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and former chief resident of the University of Florida Division of Dermatology at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Dr Stickler is currently serving as a faculty member at the Florida State University College of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Stickler is a Fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery, making Gulf Coast Dermatology the first practice in Bay County to provide this advanced surgical technique for the treatment of skin cancer. He is also trained in cosmetic procedures, including BOTOX™ and filler injections, chemical peels and photorejuvenation.
Dr. Stickler is originally from just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended the Pennsylvania State University for his undergraduate degree where he graduated magna cum laude. He then completed his medical training at the West Virginia University School of Medicine where he was the Outstanding Graduate (valedictorian) of his class. Dr. Stickler was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at that time. Dr. Stickler then completed his internship and dermatology residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
Nichol C. Raulerson, PA-C, is a dermatology-trained Physician Assistant working under the direct supervision of Dr. Ward. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Nichol is originally from St. Petersburg, FL, and graduated from Shorecrest Preparatory School. She received her undergraduate education at Emory University and attended the University of South Alabama graduating in 2006 with a Masters' Degree in Health Sciences.
